Retired Deputy Chief Bittner brings more than 40 of career fire experience. He started his fire career in Baltimore at the age 16 learning as much as he could. After working 40 years for The Woodlands Fire Department, he finally decided to pass the torch and retire. However, it was during his early retirement months that he saw the importance to maintain his health and be fit now more than ever!
Realizing that the most important aspect of the brotherhood is health and safety, he joined forces with 1st Response Family Clinic in taking care of the greatest assets of the fire departments which are the firefighters!
He understands the challenges that management has to deal with in managing the health and safety of fire fighters.
